I am 35 years old. I came to see Dr Liliy in August 2014 because of my recurrent cystitis and kidney problem. My medical history is marked by numerous bladder infections. The most serious bladder infection happened in 2006. I was in hospital for eight days and experienced the worst pain of my life. During this time, I received liquid antibiotics transfusions. After this intensive antibiotics treatment I was cured. However, I had to take antibiotics every time I felt a symptom of cystitis, which also included ear ringing or tinnitus. After this incident in 2006, antibiotics have been my only possible prevention of further kidney infection. I was convinced that antibiotics treatment was the only solution for my bladder issue. I was advised to take antibiotics immediately each time I had cystitis since 2006. It happened that I got bladder infections more than three times per years, even though I was informed about the preventions of urinary tract infection. In the last two years, I undertook four antibiotics treatments. I realised how immune I became to the medicine. I felt that my immune system weaker and that my body could no longer use such strong drugs, in order to prevent bladder infection to travel to my kidney.

There was another important issue that I wanted to discuss with Dr Lily. My partner and I wish to have a baby. I felt this desire five years ago, when I was thirty. I then stopped taking the pill and tried to get pregnant. However, I kept suffering from my chronic and acute bladder disorder. I questioned myself, how was I supposed to deal with pregnancy, if I was not even able to hold myself for a wee. The result of this agony was that my partner and I would stop trying to have a baby. The whole problem turned into a very emotional distress. I could not help but imagine having cystitis while being pregnant. I could not bare such a difficult and frustrating situation.

Having been unsuccessful in this matter since 2009, I decided to get help from the Chinese Traditional Medicine. I consulted Dr Lily in August 2014 and spoke to her about my sensitive health problems and my desire to become pregnant. I let her know that I wished to become have a baby five years ago, in 2009. However, my desire could not be fulfilled, even though I did not use any strict contraception. For over four years, I used to wake up in the middle of the night (2 or 3 am) in order to release water. I used to feel discomfort after urination. Today, I no longer need to get up in at night and run to the baht. My body is been able to control urinary store. I have not had heavy bladder irritation again, since I have taken acupuncture courses and herbs. My bladder problems have been significantly reduced and ear ringing has disappeared. With distinct improvement, I am now ten weeks pregnant! To me, this is an evidence of how the traditional Chinese medicine can change my life. I am very impressed with the acupuncture and herbal treatment of my disease within only a few months. I am so grateful for Dr Lily for helping me with healing my bladder disturbance. I thought I would never get pregnant, but now I am. This is amazing! My partner and I would like to thank her from the bottom or our heart for her wonderful works!
