“Dear Dr Lily and Dr Wang,

I came to see you for treatment some years ago. I was having IVF treatment as I had premature menopause and the clinic had given me a 12% chance of having a baby with IVF.

I remember our first meeting so clearly Dr Lily. You made me understand the philosophy of Chinese medicine and from that moment on I was in your hands 100% committed to doing whatever you advised. I was on my own because my partner at the time was Brazilian and was in Brazil so I was having all the treatment on my own. Coming to AcuMedic to have my regular acupuncture with you Dr Wang was a wonderful thing for me during a very difficult period. I found it a place of refuge and solace and serenity and calm. I became pregnant which was incredible and continued to have acupuncture throughout my pregnancy giving you updates on the situation.

My little boy Luca was born on the 25th August 2012 and against the odds he came into this world and I believe that would not have happened if it was not for the Chinese medicine and acupuncture that I received by you. So this is to say a huge heartfelt thank you from the bottom of my heart. I am sorry it has taken me so long to contact you to say that.

Luca’s father was not able to get back into the UK and even though we tried it did not happen and once Luca was born after a few months it dawned on me that his father was not going to come and I was going to be a single mother. I became very depressed and was utterly exhausted doing it all by myself with very little support. But somehow I pulled through and have kept going and Luca is now 4 years old. He is my world and it is still very tough doing it alone bu I feel so blessed to have him in my life. Luca has met s father only once when he was 2 years old. We have some contact with him but it is not as I had wished for sadly.
